I am happy to tie-dye your personal request from adult Tees, doggie T-shirts, bed sheets, to medical scrub tops. I use only 100% garments. Also fiber reactive dye, known commercially as Procion MX, is used. This results in bolder, wash fast results.
Tie dying is an art, not a science. Decorative fabric art is an often overlooked section in the world of arts and crafts but many may find the origin, types and patterns of interest. It is a craft which dates back centuries.
I see each dyed garment as a canvas. Imagination is the art, or thought process, which goes into each creation. What you see in my gallery is a small selection of that creativity. Unlike other dye houses, I do not create in bulk or do I screen print the collection. I do not dip nor vat process. I never mass-produce.
Everything I create is done by hand. For a single T-shirt the process is about 96 hours. This involves shirt preparation, batching, curing etc. When you order, your selection is not pulled out of some warehouse or pulled from a shelf. Rather, the long timely process of creating your request begins in the TyeDye Atlanta studio. Different color and pattern variations should be expected due to the uniqueness and creativity process. That unique individuality is what makes tie-dye so popular.
There are no duplicates, no clones, nothing is digitally produced. TyeDye Atlanta guarantees no two shirts are alike. That is the beauty of true tie-dye. What you will receive is “an original creation” from my studio. It would be similar to what you select, not an exact replica.
